Kirsten – Health Improvement Practitioner

Kirsten Spence has joined us as Health Improvement Practitioner, HIP for short. A HIP is a registered health professional, and their job is to help out when problems with stress and living are impacting on health and well-being, or the other way around. HIP sessions are totally free of charge, sessions are 30 minutes long and can be face to face here at the practice, or we can do phone consults too. Many people get the help they need in one session, some people come back to learn new skills, the HIP and client can decide how to proceed, the main goal is just to be helpful to people. HIPs are a part of the practice and work closely with our clinical staff to make sure we are giving our clients the best possible care. To book in with Kirsten the HIP, give Reception a call and they will book you straight in, or ask your GP or nurse.
